[SPAM?] NEUE RÄUME UND AUFRÄUMEN

Liebe alle, am Freitag sind wir – Ruby, Tomash, Andreas, Alice – durch die Räume gegangen, um zu sehen, wie wir mehr Platz für alle machen können. Wie ihr ja am besten wisst, ist der Müll und die vielen Stellwände ein großes Problem, das den ohnehin knappen Raum noch kleiner macht. Hinzu kommen die vielen gelagerten Sachen, von denen wir teilweise nicht wissen, wem sie gehören. Oft ist kein Name drauf. Bitte klebt Zettel mit euren Namen auf die gelagerten Sachen bis zum 21. Januar. Danach werden alle nicht beschrifteten Sachen (auch Kunstwerke) entsorgt. Um mehr Platz zu schaffen, werden wir auch die Spinde verschieben. Die Spinde, die zugeschlossen sind und die keinen Namen haben, werden wir aufbrechen und ausräumen. Wir werden mit euch sehr intensiv über Stellwände sprechen. Oft sind sie störend und nehmen viel Platz weg. Wir finden auch, dass es in jedem Raum nur ein Sofa geben soll. PLATZVERTEILUNG Viele hatten im letzten Semester nicht genug Platz. Hier kommen unsere Vorschläge, wie Plätze besser verteilt werden können. Lasst uns sprechen! Co-working Wir denken, dass es einige unter euch gibt, die nicht sehr oft in den Räumen sind oder sein können, aber doch gerne präsent dort sind. Dann werden die Arbeitsplätze oft verwildert oder einfach ohne Absprachen übernommen. Deswegen denken wir, dass Arbeitsplatz Sharing eine gute Idee ist. Wir würden gerne geschützte Co-working Plätze einrichten, in denen auch für Leute, die nicht regelmäßig da sind, eine kontinuierliche Arbeitsatmosphäre möglich ist. Es gibt dann einen oder mehrere große Tische und Spinde/Regale zum Wegräumen, wenn ihr wieder eine Zeit lang nicht mehr da seid. Wir denken dafür an den Raum 217 b und teilweise an die Galerie in 219. Der Co-working space kann auch was für die Master- und Lehramtsstudierenden sein. Jetzt zu den einzelnen Räumen. 221 Aklima, du bist in deinem letzten Semester und bereitest dich auf dein Diplom vor. Deswegen ist der Platz zum Malen wichtig. Trotzdem muss du dich ein bisschen reduzieren, weil wir noch andere Maler_innen unterbringen möchten in Raum 221. Ist das Sofa notwendig? Die linke Stellwand sollte entweder verschwinden oder einige Meter nach links rücken. Daniel, Sarah, Marianne und Lia C. können in den Co-working space gehen, zum besseren und konzentrierten Arbeiten. Lyan und Lilli könnten diesen neuen Raum in 221 nutzen zum Malen. SeulA, Hasti und Aklima bitte denkt nach über eure Stellwand Situation. Sie verengt euren Arbeitsbereich unnötig. Denkt nach, wir ihr den Raum gemeinsam nutzen könnt. 219 Die Spinde sind schwierig, und könnten in die Nähe des kleinen Raumes kommen. Dima, du könntest einen Platz im Co-working Space haben. Francis, du könntest deinen Platz ausweiten bis zu Dimas Platz. Jovan und Lara, ihr könntet die Mitte des Raumes als Arbeitsplatz haben, vielleicht mit Stellwänden. Francis hast du nun mehr Platz 219 upstairs Mathea und Max bleiben, und Alex könnte in 217 upstairs gehen, um einen größeren Raum zu haben (den Raum von Mario). Mario, du könntest immer noch einen Platz in den Co-working Räumen haben. Konstantin, du bleibst auf deinem Platz. Auf der ganzen Ebene gibt es einen zweiten Co-Working Space – vielleicht etwas für Teresa, Heide, Kanako, Stefan E., Marie Luise und andere. 217 upstairs Luiza and Andre bleiben. In der Mitte sind zwei Tische frei, für Co-Working und wenn Lia Q. zurückkommt. 215 Carli, Braidy, Amanda, Val bleiben. Ju, du musst etwas kleiner werden. Es wäre schön, wenn die Wasserstelle zugänglich wäre. Maide and Milli kommen als neue zu dem Platz von Dominik. Dear all, On Friday we - Ruby, Tomash, Andreas, Alice - went through the rooms to see how we could make more space for everyone. As you know best, the rubbish and the many partitions are a big problem, making the already limited space even smaller. On top of that, there are lots of stored items, some of which we don't know who they belong to. Often there is no name on them. Please stick labels with your names on the stored items by 21 January. After that, all unlabelled items (including works of art) will be disposed of. To create more space, we will also move the lockers. The lockers that are locked and have no name will be broken open and cleared out. We will talk to you very intensively about partition walls. They often get in the way and take up a lot of space. We also think that there should only be one sofa in each room. SPACE ALLOCATION Co-working We think that there are some of you who are not or cannot be in the rooms very often, but still like to be there. In this case, the workstations are often left to run wild or simply taken over without prior agreement. That's why we think workplace sharing is a good idea. We would like to set up protected co-working spaces where a continuous working atmosphere is also possible for people who are not there regularly. There would be one or more large tables and lockers/shelves to put away if you are not there for a while. We are thinking of room 217 b and partly of the gallery in 219. The co-working space could also be something for Master's and teacher training students. Now to the individual rooms. Many people didn't have enough space last semester. Here are our suggestions on how space can be better distributed. Let's discuss! 221 Aklima, you are in your last semester and are preparing for your diploma. That's why the space for painting is important. Nevertheless, you have to reduce your space a little because we want to accommodate other painters in room 221. Is the sofa necessary? The partition on the left should either disappear or move a few metres to the left. Daniel, Sarah, Marianne and Lia C. can go to the co-working space for better and more concentrated work. Lyan and Lilli could use this new space in 221 for painting. SeulA, Hasti and Aklima please think about your screen situation. It unnecessarily restricts your workspace. Think about how you can use the room together. 219 The lockers are tricky, and could come close to the small room. Dima, you could have a place in the co-working space. Francis, you could could extend your space to Dima's space. Jovan and Lara, you could have the centre of the room as a workspace, perhaps with partitions. Francis, you now have more space 219 upstairs Mathea and Max stay, and Alex could go upstairs to have a bigger space (Mario's space). Mario, you could still have a space in the co-working rooms. Konstantin, you stay in your space. There is a second co-working space on the whole level - maybe something for Teresa, Heide, Kanako, Stefan E., Marie Luise and others. 217 upstairs Luiza and Andre stay. Lilly Theilen goes to Stefan and Marie Luise's place, Ziliia stays, Alex goes to Mario. Think about the movable walls... 217 downstairs Kim Kyungha (Lily) goes to 221, Maryam stays. Yu Guo gets Lily's place. Weng Fei you get the wall by the stairs. Do you really need all the partitions? The lockers will go to another place or they will be disposed of. Vivi stays in her place. Maide and Milli go to 215. Haleh and Neda come to 217 next to Maryam. Two tables are free in the centre, for co-working and when Lia Q. comes back. 215 Carli, Braidy, Amanda, Val stay. Hallo alle zusammen, für die Timeline haben sich zu wenige gemeldet. Es ist einfach zu viel und zu knapp in der Zeit. Aber wir werden nicht aufgeben und die Timeline nächstzes SEmester beginnen. Ich freue mich jetzt schon darauf. Ohhhhhh, und dann haben wir so viel mehr PLatz zum Aufhängen. Also Bilder Raus!!! Bis Montag , wir sind so zwischen 10 und 11 da und freuen uns schon aufs Weitermachen.... Too few people have registered for the timeline. There's just too much to do and too little time. But we won't give up and will start the timeline next Semester. I'm already looking forward to it. Ohhhhhh, and then we'll have so much more space to hang them up. So paintings, drawings, and anything else out of the storage!!! See you Monday we'll be there between 10 and 11 and are already looking forward to continuing.... Muy poca gente se ha inscrito para Timeline. Hay demasiado que hacer y demasiado poco tiempo en el Rundgang. Pero no nos rendiremos y empezaremos la línea de tiempo el próximo SEmester. Ya lo estoy deseando. Ohhhhhh, y entonces tendremos mucho más espacio para colgarlas. Así que ¡¡¡pinturas mas arte fuera!!! Nos vemos el lunes nosotros estaremos entre las 10 y las 11 y ya estamos deseando continuar....

The European Investment Bank (EIB) Institute is pleased to announce the 2024 edition of its Artists Development Programme (ADP) in partnership with Cité internationale des arts (Paris), and neimënster (Neumünster Abbey Heritage Site for Culture) (Luxembourg,) for which it is looking for ONE visual artist (born after 1 January 1989) from Austria, Croatia, Hungary, Finland, Luxembourg, Portugal or Slovakia. The ADP offers emerging European visual artists a three-month residency, enabling them to develop their practice and create a new (body of) work(s), boosted by the mentorship of a renowned artist. In 2024, the residency will take place over three months between the Cité internationale des arts in Paris for two months (September-October), and neimënster in Luxembourg for one month (November). The laureates will be mentored by acclaimed Franco-Italian artist Tatiana Trouvé, as well as professor, theorist and art critic Christophe Kihm. Eligibility criteria * Born after 1 January 1989 (in the case of an artist duo, both members must be aged 35 or under) * National of Austria, Croatia, Hungary, Finland, Luxembourg, Portugal or Slovakia (in the case of an artist duo, both members must be a national of one of these countries) * Fluent in English Budget and duration The residency will take place from the beginning of September until the end of November 2024. The EIB Institute will cover the artist’s travel costs to Paris, from Paris to Luxembourg, and from Luxembourg. The artist will receive an €80 flat-rate daily allowance to cover his/her living costs during the residency and all or part of the production costs, and will be provided with a live-in studio space. In addition to the above, the artist will be granted a contribution towards production of €500 at the beginning of the residency and a success fee of €1 000 at the end of the residency, provided that he/she has produced a work or body of works. TIMELINE RUNDGANG

Dear all, we are back from lovley Venice and diving into the flows of Rundgang. There is still the open question whether to do the timeline at the walls in the hallway. We are still optimistic to do a beginning - visible at the Rundgang which then demands completion during the next semester. We suggest a meeting SUNDAY 11.00, at 216 to talk, if we have time to start the timeline in the next week.... Please tell us, if yes. If we don't receive more than three yes - we will postpone but not give up ,-) To remember: the idea came up to do a tomeline from 1948 (Nakba) until now - oriented at the cventral dates of the history of Palastine surpression. But this timeline should be embedded in other histories as well from the many backgrounds we have in our class. What has happened between 1948 and now in Bangladesh, Iran, USSR/Russia, Brazil, Gernmany, Austria , Uganda etc. ? You can imagine a whole history of a world in its interdependencies. The timeline shouldn't be only text, but also images, drawings etc. AA Liebe Leute, wir sind zurück aus dem schönen Venedig und tauchen ein in die Abläufe des Rundgangs. Es ist noch die Frage offen, ob wir die Zeitleiste an den Wänden im Rundgang machen sollen. Wir sind immer noch optimistisch, einen Anfang zu machen - sichtbar am Rundgang, der dann im nächsten Semester fertiggestellt werden muss. Wir schlagen ein Treffen am SONNTAG um 11.00 Uhr im 216 vor, um zu besprechen, ob wir Zeit haben, den Zeitstrahl in der nächsten Woche zu beginnen.... Bitte teilen Sie uns mit, wenn ja. Wenn wir nicht mehr als drei Ja-Stimmen erhalten, werden wir das Treffen verschieben, aber nicht aufgeben :-) Zur Erinnerung: Die Idee war, eine Zeitleiste von 1948 (Nakba) bis heute zu erstellen - orientiert an den zentralen Daten der Geschichte der Unterdrückung Palästinas. Aber dieser Zeitstrahl sollte auch in andere Geschichten eingebettet werden, die wir in unserer Klasse haben. Was ist zwischen 1948 und heute in Bangladesch, Iran, UdSSR/Russland, Brasilien, Deutschland, Österreich, Uganda etc. passiert? ? Man kann sich eine ganze Weltgeschichte in ihren Verflechtungen vorstellen. Die Zeitleiste sollte nicht nur aus Text bestehen, sondern auch aus Bildern, Zeichnungen usw. Als Vorausblick für Januar: Ab Donnerstag, 11.01. werden wir mit dem Aufräumen und Entsorgen beginnen, für alle deren Spinde nicht beschriftet sind (Namen) und ohne Schloß: wir werden sie entleeren und die Inahlte zur freien Verfügung für Mitstudierende vergeben, das gleiche gilt für Material aus dem Stauraum. Am Donnerstag, 11.01. werden wir uns mit den Freund:innen der Timeline treffen um diese vorzubereiten, in Raum 216.
