"DAIMON.

Wiener Festwochen 23 - Biennale-Hit goes Festwochen
The indoor beach opera Sun & Sea, (by Rugilė Barzdžiukaitė, Vaiva Grainytė and Lina Lapelytė) which picked up a Golden Lion at the 2019 Venice Biennale, provides food for thought on such topics as capitalism and climate change, tourism and privilege. While the affluent holidaymakers indulge in their hedonism down below, the audience gets to view the whole scene from above.

Purpose
I am currently organizing a shoot for a documentary about Gustav Klimt. We will be filming interviews in Vienna from 23rd - 25th May at the Leopold, Belvedere and Klimt Foundation. We are in need of an interpreter for the shoot to translate the interviewee's answers from German to English for the benefit of the director on the shoot (not filmed). Some of the interviews will take place in the evening so the hours will be varied. This is an exciting opportunity for a student to be on set of the making of a fine art documentary that will be shown in cinemas worldwide as well as earn some extra money. The student will need to be fluent in both English and German. We can pay 200 EUR a day. Here are the hours - I will be able to give more precise appointments nearer the time. Tuesday 23rd May One interview between 9:15 - 14:00 (needed for 2 hours only) And one interview between 18:00 - 22:00 (only needed for 2 hours) Wednesday 24th May One interview 10:00 - 12:00 (2 hours only) One interview between 13:30 - 15:30 (2 hours only) Two interviews between 18:00 - 22:00 (4 hours only) Thursday 25th May One interview between 10:00 - 14:00 (2 hours) Is this something you will be able to advertise to your students? Please don't hesitate to contact me regarding any more information you might need. Many thanks, Dawn Williams Production Coordinator
