nächste Woche findet unsere Open Door-Veranstaltung statt, zu der wir euch sehr herzlich einladen möchten. Außerdem steht die Deadline für Einreichungen für die Graduiertenkonferenz 2024 sowie das Ende der Anmeldefrist zum Workshop „Presenting Your Work to the World“ bevor.

Die Open Door-Veranstaltung des Doktoratszentrumshttps://www.akbild.ac.at/de/forschung/veranstaltungen/vortrage-events/2024/open-door-sommersemester-2024 im Sommersemester 2024 bietet Möglichkeiten, sich mit Kolleg_innen auszutauschen und Fragen rund um das Doktoratsstudium aller Doktoratsprogramme zu besprechen. Darüber hinaus wird über die Services und aktuellen Aktivitäten des Doktoratszentrums und der Studienabteilung informiert. Eine Anmeldung ist nicht erforderlich. Termin: Donnerstag, 21. März 2024, 14.00-15.30 Uhr, Schillerplatz 3, 1010 Wien, Raum 201 (Kunst | Forschung | Support).

Die Graduiertenkonferenzhttps://www.akbild.ac.at/de/forschung/veranstaltungen/konferenzen/2023/graduiertenkonferenz-2024 wird am 30. April 2024 stattfinden und bietet Doktorand_innen in der Abschlussphase die Möglichkeit, ihre Projekte zu präsentieren. Pro Doktorand_in sind eine ca. 25-minütige Präsentation und ebenso viel Zeit für die Diskussion vorgesehen. Vorträge und Diskussionen können in Deutsch oder Englisch abgehalten werden. April statt. Wir freuen uns auf Anmeldungen von Doktorand_innen, die ihre Fähigkeiten bei der Entwicklung und Erstellung von Präsentationen verfeinern möchten. Anmeldung ist noch bis 22. The Open Doorhttps://www.akbild.ac.at/en/research/events/lectures-events/2024/summer-semester-2024-open-door event of the Center for Doctoral Studies on March 21, 2024, from 2:00 to 3:30 pm (room 201, Schillerplatz 3) offers opportunities to exchange ideas with colleagues and discuss questions concerning the studies in all doctoral and PhD programs. In addition, information will be provided on the services and current activities of the Center for Doctoral Studies and the Registrar´s Office. Registration is not required.

We are pleased to invite you to another Graduate Conferencehttps://www.akbild.ac.at/en/research/events/conferences/2023/graduate-conference-2024 this year – the conference will take place on April 30, 2024. Advanced doctoral candidates will have the opportunity to present their dissertation/Ph.D. projects. Every presenter will have a 25-minute time slot for their presentation and the same amount of time available for a discussion. Presentations and discussions can be in German or English. The workshop Academic Writing in English at Doctoral Level: Presenting your Work to the World – Developing and Writing Texts for Presentation Formatshttps://www.akbild.ac.at/en/research/events/workshops/2024/academic-writing-in-english-at-doctoral-level-presenting-your-work-to-the-world-developing-and-writing-texts-for-presentation-formats with Helen Palmer takes place on April 8 and 9. We are looking forward for registrations from doctoral candidates who would like to refine their skills in developing and writing presentations.
