Mark your calendars for Deluge Vol. IV, an afternoon of sonic situations presented by the MAK Center for Art & Architecture and Deluge featuring artists Contour, Linafornia and Kelman Duran. Responding to the singular environs of the Schindler House, the artists’
sounds will seep throughout its varied spaces, invoking the porous social boundaries and experimental behaviors enabled by its radical design.

Join Susanna Phillips Newbury at the Mackey Apartments on Thursday, June 27th for "Forensics: The Cultural Power of Art and Real Estate". Los Angeles has long invested in contemporary art and real estate development as a long-term strategy for cultural growth.
More than 70 years into intensive plans to incentivize arts infrastructure as an engine of its global and local economy, "Forensics" looks back on its uneven path, asking how artists, museums, cities and regions might plan for different futures.

Residencies in Dialogue brings together contemporary artists in dialogue over new models, formats, and sites for artist residencies. Moderated by Jia Yi Gu, the discussion brings together Mary Boo Anderson and Zoë Blair-Schlagenhauf from the Ikea Residency,
Lenka Clayton from An Artist Residency in Motherhood, yétúndé ọlágbajú from Level Ground, and Debra Scacco from Air to reflect on the institutional and artistic propositions of their artist-founded residency programs, and their work expanding on where and
how artist residencies are sited.
A full-day set of conversations, socializing, and exchange, Residences in Dialogue offers people a chance to better understand both the facilitation of residencies
as well as the creative process of participating in one.
For further information, please visit our website.
