Liebe Doktorand_innen,
wir möchten sehr gerne den neuen Publikationskostenzuschuss „Going Book“ für Mitarbeiter_innen und Doktoratsstudierende der Akademie vorstellen.
Mit dem Publikationskostenzuschuss sollen ausgezeichnete akademische Buchpublikationen in ihrer Realisierung unterstützt werden. Voraussetzung für die Förderung ist, dass es sich um eine qualitätsgesicherte (peer-reviewte)
Publikation handelt. Dafür stehen jährlich insgesamt 10.000 Euro zur Verfügung. Pro Buch können Verlagskosten für Druck, copy editing und Grafik mit einem Zuschuss von max. 2.500 Euro unterstützt werden. „Going Book“ möchte dabei auch insbesondere Nachwuchsforschende
bei der Veröffentlichung von akademischen Büchern unterstützen.
Eine Einreichung ist laufend möglich. Teilnahmeberechtigt sind alle Mitarbeiter_innen sowie alle Doktoratsstudierenden der Akademie.
Die Förderentscheidung über die Vergabe des Publikationskostenzuschusses erfolgt durch den Rektor. Die Mittel werden nach dem Prinzip „first come, first serve“ vergeben. Die Publikation darf noch nicht erschienen
sein. Es gibt keinen Rechtsanspruch auf diese Förderung.

Dear doctoral candidates,
we would like to introduce the new publication cost grant “Going Book” for staff and doctoral candidates of the Academy.
The publication cost grant is intended to support the realization of excellent academic book publications. The prerequisite for funding is that it is a quality-assured (peer-reviewed) publication.
A total of EUR 10,000 is available annually for this purpose. Publishing costs for printing, copy editing and graphics can be supported with a maximum grant of EUR 2,500 per book. “Going Book” also aims to support young researchers in particular with the publication
of academic books.
Submissions are possible on an ongoing basis. All employees and doctoral candidates of the Academy are eligible to participate.
The funding decision on the grant for the publication costs is made by the Rector. The funds are allocated on a first come, first served basis. The publication must not yet have been published. There
is no legal entitlement to this funding.
