Zweiteiliger Workshop mit Lotte Lyon

28.5.2024 und 4.6.2024, 14.30 bis 17:30h

Im Workshop geht es um die Erstellung einer Einreichung für ein konkretes Projekt, beispielsweise für einen Kunst am Bau-Wettbewerb oder das Ansuchen um eine Förderung. Auch wenn ein gutes Portfolio noch keine Garantie für eine erfolgreiche Einreichung ist, ist es aus dem heutigen Berufsalltag von bildenden Künstler_innen nicht mehr wegzudenken und sollte möglichst professionell gemacht sein.

Anhand von konkreten Projekten der Teilnehmer_innen soll besprochen werden, was eine erfolgversprechende Einreichung ausmacht. Besonderes Augenmerk wird dabei auf das Erstellen einer Kostenkalkulation gelegt, es sollen aber auch Fragen zu Inhalt, Gestaltung und Text besprochen werden.

Nach einer allgemeinen Einführung zum Thema mit Beispielen aus der Praxis gibt es die Möglichkeit, Projekte der Teilnehmenden zu diskutieren.

Bitte bringen Sie Unterlagen zu den eigenen Projekten mit, gerne in digitaler Form. Es ist hilfreich, wenn Sie einen Antrag, den Sie gerade ausarbeiten, schon vorab schicken können.

Da nur 15 Personen teilnehmen können, melden Sie sich bitte nur an, wenn Sie verbindlich an beiden Terminen teilnehmen können.

Die Teilnahme ist für Mitglieder des Alumnivereins der Akademie der bildenden Künste Wien kostenfrei.

Calls for Papers - Design and Calculation of Project Proposals

Two-part workshop with Lotte Lyon

Academy of Fine Arts Vienna, Conference room, Schillerplatz 3, 1010 Vienna

The workshop is about creating a submission for a concrete project, for example for an art in architecture competition or the application for a grant. Even though a good portfolio is no guarantee for a successful submission, it is an indispensable part of today's professional life of visual artists and should be done as professionally as possible.

Based on concrete projects of the participants, we will discuss what makes a promising submission. Special attention will be paid to the preparation of a cost calculation, but also questions regarding content, design and text will be discussed.

After a general introduction to the topic with examples from the field, there will be an opportunity to discuss participants' projects.

Please bring documents on your own projects, preferably in digital version. It is helpful if you can send a proposal you are working on in advance.

Lotte Lyon is an artist and lecturer at the Linz University of the Arts.

Since only 15 people can participate, please register only if you can commit to attending both dates.

Participation is free of charge for members of the Alumni Association of the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna.

The workshop will be held in German.
