Liebe Kolleg_innen, liebe Studierende,

wir möchten sehr gerne vor dem Sommer den neuen Prize for Best Research Catalogue Exposition of the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna in Erinnerung rufen.

Dieser Preis zeichnet hervorragende Beiträge im Research Catalogue (sog. RC Expositions) von Kolleg_innen und Studierenden der Akademie der bildenden Künste Wien aus. Gesucht werden veröffentlichte RC Beiträge aus den Jahren 2023 und 2024. Ziel des Preises ist es, innovative und experimentierfreudige Publikationsformate zu fördern und künstlerische Forschung weithin international sichtbar zu machen.

Die Einreichenden werden ermutigt nach Möglichkeit möglichst offene Lizenzen für ihren Beitrag zu verwenden. Es können Einzelpersonen wie auch Teams einreichen.

Dear colleagues, dear students,

We would like to remind you of the the new Prize for Best Research Catalogue Exposition of the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna before the summer.

This prize rewards outstanding contributions to the Research Catalogue (i.e. RC Expositions) by staff and students of the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna. We are looking for published RC contributions from the years 2023 and 2024. The aim of the prize is to promote innovative and experimental publication formats and to make artistic research widely visible internationally.

Applicants are encouraged to use open licences for their contributions wherever possible. Both individuals and teams can submit entries.

Detailed information on the prize and the submission process (deadline: 3 October 2024, 11 a.m.) can be found on the Academy's submission platform: https://calls.akbild.ac.at/calls/RCAB24/
