Unterstützungsfonds
für Studierende aus Drittstaaten*
Die Akademie der bildenden Künste Wien möchte mit dem Unterstützungsfonds sozial benachteiligten Studierenden aus Drittstaaten*,
Staatenlosen, subsidiär Schutzberechtigten und Konventionsflüchtlingen eine finanzielle Hilfestellung bieten und stellt daher eine Summe aus den Erlösen der jährlichen Akademie Auktion zur Verfügung.
Die Vergabe des Unterstützungsfonds erfolgt jährlich durch das Vizerektorat Kunst | Lehre.

Bewerbungsvoraussetzungen
* Ausgenommen sind alle Vertragsstaaten des EWR sowie die Schweiz und das Vereinigte Königreich (Vertragsstaaten der EWR sind zum einen die 27 EU-Mitgliedsstaaten und zum anderen
die sogenannten EFTA-Staaten Island, Liechtenstein und Norwegen). Austauschstudierende und Doppelstaatsbürger_innen eines EWR-Vertragsstaates (inkl. Schweiz, Vereinigtes Königreich) kommen für ein Stipendium prinzipiell nicht in Frage.
Erforderliche Einreichunterlagen

Prüfungsaktivität der letzten beiden Semester.

Wenn Sie noch am Anfang Ihres Studiums sind, bitte übermitteln Sie die Prüfungsaktivität der bisher absolvierten Lehrveranstaltungen und die derzeit belegten Lehrveranstaltungen.

vollständigen Angaben und Unterlagen, die den oben angeführten Kriterien entsprechen, berücksichtigt werden. Bitte beachten Sie, dass die
Einreichfristen unbedingt eingehalten werden müssen, zu spät oder unvollständig eingereichte Anträge können ausnahmslos nicht berücksichtigt werden.

Der Login ist nicht mit dem AkademieOnline-Passwort möglich, da es sich hier um ein eigenständiges System handelt.
Es besteht die Möglichkeit sowohl für den Unterstützungsfonds als auch für das 2nd Year Scholarship einzureichen. Bitte beachten Sie jedoch,
dass Ihnen nur eines der beiden Stipendien zuerkannt werden kann.
Die Auszahlung ist abhängig von der Juryentscheidung für das 2nd Year Scholarship im Dezember.
Wir bitten um Verständnis, dass eine Auszahlung für beide Stipendien erst im Jänner erfolgen kann.

Student Assistance Fund
for students from third countries*
With the support fund, the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna would like to offer financial assistance to socially disadvantaged students from
third countries*, stateless persons, persons entitled to subsidiary protection and convention refugees and therefore provides a sum from the proceeds of the annual Academy Auction. The support fund is allocated annually by the Vice-Rectorate for Arts | Teaching.

Terms and conditions of participation
* Except all member states of the EEA, Switzerland and the United Kingdom (the EEA includes the 27 EU-member states and the so-called EFTA-states Iceland, Liechtenstein,
and Norway). Exchange students and dual citizens of an EEA member state (incl. Switzerland, United Kingdom) do not qualify for this grant.
Required submission documents

Valid photo ID (identity card, passport or similar).
·
Biographical information in the form of a tabular curriculum vitae.
·
Confirmation of study period.
·
Proof of Study Success (available via Campus Online - Studies - Studienerfolgsnachweis):

Examination activity of the last two semesters.
o
If you are still at the beginning of your studies, please submit the examination activity of the courses you have taken so far and the courses you are currently
enrolled in.

A letter of recommendation from a teacher at the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna, addressing social need, previous academic success, and motivation for study.
·
Consistent and continuous bank account statements for the last three months.
Only applications with
complete information and documents that meet the above criteria can be considered. Please note that the submission
deadlines must be strictly adhered to, late or incomplete applications cannot be considered without exception.
An application is only possible via

https://calls.akbild.ac.at/ you have to register once (if you do not have access yet)
- please use your @student.akbild.ac.at address to identify yourself as a student. Login is
not possible with the AkademieOnline password, as this is a separate system.
It is possible to apply for both the 2nd Year Scholarship and the Student Assistance Fund. Please note, however, that only
one of the two scholarships can be awarded to you. The payment depends on the jury decision for the 2nd Year Scholarship in December.
We ask for your understanding that payment for both scholarships can only be made in January.
