In this lecture we will discuss how religious mythologies about diverse gender expressions, and their representations
in art, as well as fashion is entangled with recent deliberations about the constitutional rights of transgender persons in contemporary India.
Debanuj DasGupta is Assistant Professor in the Department of Feminist Studies /University of California. S/he is specialiced on Trans Studies and Queer Theory,
Activims and Academia, Migration Studies, Transnational Sexuality Studies.
