Ausschreibung Fügerpreis Im Studienjahr 2023/24 wird der Fügerpreis in der Höhe von 1.500,-- Euro vergeben. Gestiftet 1819 zum Andenken an Heinrich Friedrich Füger, Professor und späterer Direktor der Akademie der bildenden Künste Wien (1751-1818), wird dieser Preis alljährlich an Studierende durch die Preisjury Kunst vergeben. Die Jury setzt sich aus Vertreter_innen aller Studienrichtungen (nominiert von den Institutsleitungen) sowie zwei externen Mitgliedern (nominiert vom Senat) zusammen. Mit diesem Preis soll Fügers großes Anliegen gewürdigt werden, der Zeichnung eine zentrale Rolle in der künstlerischen Ausbildung zukommen zu lassen. Ausschreibungsbedingungen · Studierende aller künstlerischen Studienrichtungen sind berechtigt, Arbeiten einzureichen. · Die Arbeiten müssen ohne Ausnahme Handzeichnungen sein und dürfen das Format 1m x 1m nicht überschreiten. · Pro Teilnehmer_in nur eine Arbeit - keine zyklischen Arbeiten; malerische Arbeiten auf Papier sind ebenfalls nicht zugelassen. Wenn Skizzenbücher eingereicht werden, muss klar erkenntlich sein, welche Seite (links oder rechts) gemeint ist. Fristen
* Eine Anmeldung erfolgt in den Sekretariaten des jeweiligen Instituts. Die genaue Frist für die Anmeldung wird an den jeweiligen Instituten ausgehängt. * Eine Liste dieser Teilnehmer_innen ist seitens der Institutssekretariate bis spätestens Montag, den 17. Juni 2024, der Studien- u. Prüfungsabteilung zu übermitteln. Abgabe der Arbeiten
* Donnerstag, den 20. Juni 2024, zwischen 09:00 h und 11:00 h (lt. Teilnehmer_innenliste).
* Mehrzwecksaal/Atelierhaus - 1060 Wien, Léhargasse 8 (Tor 1, 2. Stock) - bei Mag. Franz Wibmer. * Es können keine Arbeiten nachgereicht werden. Die eingereichte Zeichnung ist auf der Rückseite mit dem Namen zu versehen. Der Ausweis für Studierende ist bei der Abgabe der Arbeit vorzuweisen. Die Zeichnungen sind unbedingt nach der Sitzung der Jury am Donnerstag, 20. Juni 2024, zwischen 14:00 h und 15:00 h, im Mehrzwecksaal wieder abzuholen. Der Ausweis ist gleichfalls wieder mitzunehmen. Call Füger Prize In the academic year 2023/24, the Füger Prize will be awarded in the amount of 1,500. -- Euro. Founded in 1819 in memory of Heinrich Friedrich Füger, professor and later director of the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna (1751-1818), this prize is awarded yearly to students by the Preisjury Kunst. The jury comprises representatives from all fields of study (nominated by the heads of the institutes) and two external members (nominated by the Senate). This prize is intended to honor Füger's outstanding commitment to giving drawing a central role in arts education. Conditions of tender · Students of all artistic fields of study are entitled to submit works. · Without exception, the works must be hand drawings and must not exceed the format 1m x 1m.
* Notes: Only one work per participant - no cyclical works; painterly works on paper are also not permitted. If sketchbooks are submitted, it must be clear which page (left or right) is meant. Deadlines
* An application can be made in the secretariats of the respective institute. The exact deadline for registration will be posted at the respective institutes. * A list of the participants must be submitted by the offices of the institutes to the Registrar's office by Monday, 17 June 2024 at the latest.
