Dear students!

We would like to address you as ÖH - the students’ union of the Akademie der bildenden Künste, to remind you of the importance of voting during the ÖH Elections 2023. At the Akademie you have the opportunity to vote for your representatives on each institute (the Studienvertretung), the two lists on the university level (refa – rich parents for everybody + kinky party) as well as for your representation at the federal students’ union. Your participation is of extreme relevance, as the students’ representatives fight politically for better conditions of studies and financial support.

The elections at the Akademie will be held at the room in front of the ÖH office on the ground floor, on 9, 10 and 11 May. During those days we are also collecting clothes for male prisoners at Justizanstalt Josefstadt.

WHO CAN YOU VOTE?

For three days, you can decide who will represent your interests at the national level, towards the academy and the institutes (https://www.oehakbild.info/2023/04/wen-kann-ich-wahlen/)

• federal representation (parliamentary group election) - for the election of your representation at federal level.
• university representation (parliamentary group election) - for the election of your representation at university level
• student representation (personal election) - for the election of your representation at the institute level.

WHO CAN VOTE?

At the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna all full and associate students are entitled to vote, who by the deadline of 21st of March 2023 have paid their tuition fees and are thus registered for further studies in summer 2023. Non-degree students can only vote for the federal and the university representation, as no student representation has been set up for them. 

WHEN AND WHERE TO VOTE?

The polling station is located in the anteroom of the ÖH office at Schillerplatz 3, 1010 Vienna.

Wed, 10.5.2023: 10:00 to 18:00
Thu, 11.5.2023: 10:00 to 17:00
